John Frieda Review

Hello there lovelies :)
I must apologize for not posting in a few days. I try to post as often as possible, but sometimes things don't always go as planned. However, here I am! :) I hope you like this review and let me know what you think.

John Frieda Everlasting Blonde Colour Preserving Shampoo/Conditioner

First, I would like to share a horrible habit of mine (it has to do with this review I promise). I have to wash my hair everyday. I know everyone is screaming in their heads how horrible this is for my hair, but I take very good care of my hair (I'm a rapper lol) and it is actually very healthy. I love washing my hair and I have washed it every single day since I can remember. I just can't sleep knowing I haven't washing my hair in 24 hours. Anyways, since I wash my hair everyday and I have ombred my hair I knew it was important to get something to preserve the color. I picked up this John Frieda one, even though I had never tried a John Frieda product, because I heard someone say good things about it.

The great thing about this product is that you don't need too much of it to work. Having long hair and washing it everyday means that I go through shampoo/conditioner like crazy! A small amount in the palm of my hand is enough to fully wash my hair and thoroughly. Now this product says to use it every time that you wash your hair, but I only use it about one to two times a week. I can honestly say that my hair looks the exact same color as the day that I colored it, and that includes all the washes that it has been through. It has really helped kept the colored ends of my hair looking healthy and beautiful.

The best thing about this combo is how soft it makes my hair. Honestly, no shampoo/conditioner has ever made my hair feel as soft as this one. As I'm washing the products out I can just feel my hair so smooth and silky. There must be magic in this product. I can literally run my fingers through my wet hair and it is soft and there are no tangles in it (and I have a lot of hair!). This softness carries on to the styling of the hair and remains for a really long time. I really just love this product and recommend it to anyone with colour treated hair (blonde).

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Hair Care/Review

TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave-In Spray

As you might know from previous posts and pictures, I ombred my hair. When you do this, you are essentially bleaching your hair and stripping it of its color. This can be very damaging to your hair, so proper care is required afterwards. One of the most important things required is protection against heat. I used to be very lazy about it and wouldn't really think twice if I forgot to use it. Since I did my hair, I use this every single day and have made a habit of using it to protect my hair from more damage.

TRESemme has always been one of my favorite drugstore brands. The price and the quality of what you get from their products are amazing. I really do believe that they are professional quality. I do prefer some of their products more than higher-end products because of how good they are for my hair. This particular product protects up to 450 degrees of heat, which is great for blow drying, straightening and curling.

Unlike other heat protection sprays, this one doesn't have a very strong, chemical smell. It has a very pleasant, clean smell to it. It doesn't leave your hair feeling stiff either. When you first spray it on, it leaves your hair a little firm, but as soon as you brush through it it actually makes your hair feel super soft. I found that my hair seems to feel lighter and bouncier when I use this product instead of weighed down by it. I have noticed that my hair has started to look much better than it did before I used it. I highly recommend this to anyone, regardless if you have ombre hair. Even if you just blow dry your hair, you need some sort of protection for it.

I hope you enjoyed this post :)

OOTD

I thought that I would put my own personal twist to this OOTD post.
Let me know what you thought!

I picked up both these pieces at Forever 21. I have been obsessed with floral print for as long as I can remember. Being from Texas means 100 degree weather in the summer so outfits like these for those hot summer days :)

As you can see I'm not a size zero. Being Latina, I have been blessed with curves. I have large hips, with a fairly large chest to match. The fact that I am built like this does not mean I have to hide my body. People seem to have developed this idea that the only way that a person can be beautiful or successful in today's society is only if you wear a size extra small. The character of a person has no significance if they don't look a certain way. I think this idea is preposterous, but most people don't think like me.

I could understand what most young girls my size think. You watch famous YouTubers and Beauty Bloggers and they all seem to have one thing in common, their size. They all seem to have this ready for a bikini, no weight issues body. Why is that? I have nothing against these people (just to be clear). I bet that they are wonderful people! They, unpurposley, give people of a larger size no hope. There's no way that you will be as liked as that certain person because of the size of dress that you wear. This is ridiculous and no one should ever feel that way.

I once heard someone say, "She would be so pretty if she lost weight." This is so upsetting and ridiculous that I didn't know what to say. My size is what makes me the person that I am today. Personally, I don't want to be skinny. I like food more than half of the guys on this planet. A person's beauty comes from within, not from the size of their pants. Be yourself and show the people with nasty minds like the one who said this, eat their words. Be happy!!

I created this blog because I wanted to share the things that I love with other people. Although I am a size medium, I should never feel self-conscious because of what I see in the media. I'm not changing for anyone. I'm happy the way that I am and will continue to embrace the body that I was given. I know that I'm not that much larger than those people, but it doesn't matter. Do what you love! Whether you have one subscriber or 50,000, just do what you love and people will love you for you.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Aveeno Active Naturals Review

Aveeno Active Naturals
Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser

No matter what skin type you have I think it is majorly important to exfoliate your skin with a cleanser. Even if you don't wear makeup, you skin is covered in dirt, oil and junk that you have to cleanse in order to keep you skin looking great! I personally have oily to combination skin, but not a very bad acne problem. I do get a blemish here and there, but it has never been a severe problem for me. Even though I don't have blemishes, I think it is important to use a blemish treatment in order to prevent them.
The thing that I love about Aveeno is that is has been around for years. My mom would use their products when she was around my age so I know that it is a good quality product. As opposed to other acne treatments, Aveeno uses essential active naturals, moisture-rich soy in this product, which are basically ingredients derived from nature. You face and the skin around this area are very delicate, so you need to be very careful of the products that you use on it.
I am absolutely in love with this cream cleanser. I finished my first bottle and immediately went to buy this second one. This cream cleanser is oil-free which is great for my oily skin. It leaves my skin looking healthy and renewed every time that I use it. Unlike other cleansers that have microbeads, these don't scrape my skin and irritate it. They help to get deep down and into the pores to get out the hard to reach junk that can be located there. The cleanser is very gentle, but gets the job done. My skin tone and the texture of my skin have really improved as well. My skin feels super soft after using it and its just the perfect product. It doesn't have a funky smell and it just works great for my face.

If I don't like a product, I won't talk about it. I'm not being paid to talk about this product, I just want to let people know of products that I use and love!
Hope you enjoyed my post :)
Don't forget, I am now on Bloglovin so don't forget to go over and follow my blog :)

Eco Tools Review

Eco Tools Eye Brush Set - 6 Piece

I know that when you go out to buy makeup brushes, it may be a little overwhelming. There's so many brands of brushes that claim to be the best that after a while all the brushes tend to look the same. I thought I would share my own personal favorite brush kit and hopefully make your life a little easier.
I had always been drawn to Eco Tools due to the fact that they are earth-friendly. The brushes are made of bamboo and of natural, recycled materials. The look of the brushes looked amazingly cute and at the price of just around $8 at Target, I figured I would give them a try. This was about two years ago and I still think these are some of my favorite brushes to use.

The feel of these brushes is soft, like extremely soft. Because they are meant for the eye area, which is a delicate area, I thought that these were perfect. It is horrible to have to use rough, hard brushes on the eye because it just make the whole experience of applying makeup miserable. The bristles of the brushes don't fall off easily, like you would expect from brushes of lesser value. Cleaning them is super easy and the bristles don't become hard afterwards. They are just as soft after you wash them as when I first bought them. I have had this set for quite a while now and the set still looks new.

This set is perfect for people just starting off and who aren't sure what to buy, or for on-the-go. This set is small and compact and fits in a makeup bag and doesn't take up a lot of space. Along with the mirrored pouch, the set includes a blend brush, crease brush, highlight brush, shade brush and smudge brush. This is just such a great combination to have in one collection that I recommend them to anyone looking for good quality, low priced eye brushes. These brushes are such great quality that I actually went out and bought more!

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Maybelline Master Precise Review

Maybelline New York Master Precise by EyeStudio
Black

Well hello there!

I have a little secret that I would like to share............
I am obsessed with eyeliner.
Feels great to get that off my chest!

But on a serious note I can't imagine my life without eyeliner (little dramatic). Maybelline just came out with this new liquid eyeliner and I thought I would try it out since I already love many Maybelline New York products. I was drawn to this product by the dame of the point and just couldn't not give this a try.

I am ultra happy that I gave this eyeliner a go! It is my new favorite eyeliner and I wear it all the time.

With the shape of the point, it is very easy to apply the eyeliner. You are able to make accurate, precise lines and not have to worry about trying not to put too much. This eyeliner is not as wet as others which is great since it doesn't smear and droop everywhere. I put it on and don't have to worry about having a dotted line on the top of my lid by the end of the day.
I also have very watery eyes. Most liquid eyeliners tend to run and smear towards the outer corners of my eyes. This product stays put no matter how oily your face is. It is super pigmented and doesn't  require you to go over and over the line to get it on. I absolutely love this eyeliner and highly recommend it to any and everyone!

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Have an awesome day :)

Maybelline New York Color Tattoo Review

Maybelline New York Color Tattoo By EyeStudio 24hr Eye Shadow
25-Bad to the Bronze

After much deliberation with myself (weird much?), I finally gave in and decided to try out this color tattoo. I had been so hesitant to try it because I haven't had any cream shadows that I really enjoyed, so I had completely given up hope on them. There has been so much positive feedback from this product that I had to try it out.

I am so glad that I tried out this eye shadow!

First of all, the name of this eye shadow is adorable and super clever. I immediately loved the creaminess of this color tattoo. Unlike other cream shadows, it wasn't flaky or dry to the point where it was impossible to work with. It makes an amazing base for other shadows and it is also beautiful on its own for a quick look. When I want to make a very neutral eye, I will just apply this all over my lid and I'm ready to go. If I want a more dramatic look, I will use this as a base and apply darker shades on top. With the shadow being so creamy, it is really easy to blend with other shadows.

The best thing, by far, is how long this product lasts. I literally put this on early in the morning and don't have to worry about it not being there when I get home at night. (Let it be known that I live in a very humid and hot area in Texas) It also does not smear or fade away with humidity which makes it 100 times better for me.

I hope you enjoyed my review :) What are your thoughts on this product?? Let me know!

Freeman Peel-Off Mask Review

Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Peel-Off Mask: Cucumber

It was not until recently that I discovered this product, but I sure am glad that I did. I'm very cautious of the products that I put on my face (mainly because I am horrified that I will have a strange reaction that causes my face to well up like a pumpkin). I was drawn to this product for the simple fact that it had Aloe Vera in it.

Again, I can not stress how much I love Aloe Vera! This plant is beneficial in so many ways that I am simply addicted to anything that has it. Aloe Vera works wonders on so many things that I trust almost every single product that has it as a ingredient.

Now, I am not sure about you guys but when I was in elementary school my friends and I loved to play with glue (there's a point to this story I promise!). We would put glue in our palm and with a finger we would spread it on our hand creating a thin layer. Then, we would wave our hands around to dry out the glue. When it was dry we would peel the glue off and see who had the best peel.

This mask is the exact same thing, but for your face! The mask, shockingly, smells exactly like cucumbers. You have to make sure you apply the product correctly. You don't need to completely drown your face in the product however, f you put too little the mask is very difficult to spread and just makes a mess! (Hint: I highly recommend not moving your face while you're waiting for the mask to dry. I found this to be the most beneficial.)

You would not believe how amazing your face feels after using this peel-off mask. My face feels so fresh and clean after peeling it off. The oil of my skin is completely gone and my face feels tremendously smooth. This mask is great to use during long weeks of wearing make-up daily. Whenever you feel the need to renew your skin and clear it of all your impurities, you should use this mask. The best part is definitely the price! For around $4 you are able to get MANY uses compared to single masks that are one-time-only and cost just about the same!

I highly recommend this mask since I have fallen in love with it. I am aware that Freeman has two other masks that have different purposes and I am really excited to try them out. This is perfect for a girls night and at home spa days :)

I hope you enjoyed this review! Let me know of your favorite masks to use :)
I am not being paid to speak about this product, just sharing my own personal experiences!
