RevitaLift Miracle Blur

Hello Everyone!

Being only 19 years old I wouldn't exactly say that I suffer from wrinkles, but I do have fairly large pores and some small lines. I was a little hesitant to buy this product because of the price. Being a drugstore item, I wasn't too sure if I would buy this or just spend a little more for a high end product that I knew worked. I finally decided to give in and see how it worked for my skin.

L'Oreal RevitaLift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother

Miracle Blur instantly erases the look of lines, wrinkles, and pores. Skin instantly looks and feels smooth, leaving a velvet soft matte finish that lasts all day.
I am someone who suffers from acne (not severe) so primers are always a concern for me. Most drugstore primers tend to make me break out so I was a little concerned trying this one. Luckily this particular primer did not make me break out which was a huge plus for me. The first thing that you will notice about this primer is the smell. It smells exactly like sunblock, which it expected since it has SPF 30 and this is really good for your face. It is always important to protect your skin from the sun.

Like I have mentioned before, the price is a little steep for a drugstore primer. The price is anywhere from $20-$25 (depending on what store you go to) for about 1.18 oz. The good thing is that a small amount goes a long way. I will usually apply a small amount on my hands and spread it all over my face, then I will get a little more and do spot treatment. Although this is a primer, it doesn't make your face feel heavy and covered in product. My lines seem to instantly blur and my skin looks flawless. My pores seem to instantly vanish and my skin looks even and smooth.

I love this primer and I think that it is totally worth the price. Since I purchased this one, they have since released and Oil-Free version. This one would be great if you have really oils skin since you don't want to add anymore oil to it. I have normal skin with a slightly oily T-Zone and small dry patches. This primer works great for me and I highly recommend it to all of you.

Hope you enjoyed this review :)
What is your favorite primer?

Garnier Fructis Volume Extend

Hello Everyone!

When I first tried this product I didn't think much of it. I thought it was an okay product that I wasn't too sure if I would repurchase. It wasn't until I stopped using it that I realized how much I really loved this product and wanted to keep using.

Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Instant Bodifier Dry Shampoo

I tend to stay away from dry shampoos since I wash my hair everyday and have no need for them. What drew me into this particular product was how it emphasized that it would give volume. I have very long hair which tends to get weighed down and flat. Whenever a product claims to give volume I have to try it out.

As you may have already guessed this is a spray dry shampoo as opposed to the powder ones. I much prefer these since it is much quicker and since I don't really use if for dry shampoo purposes. I love how this sprays out of the bottle. It is very similar to a hairspray but a bit stronger spray. One of the things that I enjoy most about this product is the smell. It has a very pleasant citrus smell that isn't too strong and chemical-like. It is the type of smell that I don't mind my hair having throughout the day. I tend to get headaches from products that smell too strong and linger around.

This sprays out clear-ish. Now if you apply too much to an area or too close to the hair then it will get a light hint of white but it quickly can be fixed. I would suggest using a little bit since a little goes a long way with my hair. I get so much volume from this dry shampoo that I use it every single day. I style my hair as usual and then I will spray this in small sections at the top of my head. I will just run my fingers through or flip my hair upside down and done. My hair goes from completely flat to full of volume. Now that I know how much I love this, I plan on repurchasing it over and over again.

Hope you enjoyed this review :)

September Favorites

Hello Everyone!

I must say that I wasn't quite prepared for this post. I thought September just started and it's already over. I have no idea why these months seem to be speeding by, but that only means we are getting closer to Christmas so I'm not really complaining.

These have been my holy grail items for the month of September and will probably help me get through the rest of the year as well. With the stress of college, I've relied on these products to help me not look as horrible as I feel.

1. Orgins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask - I have Normal to Combination skin. Now this mask is intended for people that have really dry skin, which isn't entirely my case. I have extremely dry areas around my nose and on my chin though. I decided to try this out since no other moisturizer seemed to work. Since using this, my skin has become so much better than it was. I guess I didn't realize how dehydrated my skin actually was.

2. VitaZing SPF 15 Energy Boosting Moisturizer with Mangosteen - I did not intend on buying this but the lady at Orgins was so incredibly sweet that I just bought it. This has a sheer tint release that matches the color of your skin perfectly. I love using this as a morning moisturizer because it makes a perfect base for makeup.

3. Rimmel Scandaleyes Long Wear Waterproof Eyeliner (Nude) - This past month I have been overwhelmed with school work so I haven't been able to get as much sleep as I would like. Using this in my waterline it instantly transforms my look. My eyes look brighter and it helps you look more awake.

4. Covergirl Lipslicks Smoochies (#text me) - I have been waking up a little later than usual in the morning in order to get a little more sleep. This means that I haven't been taking too much time to do my makeup and have been using products that are really quick and easy to apply. I always have one of these in my backpack and will just put it on before I get to class and I have a nice splash of color on my lips.

5. e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow (Burnt Plum) - I have been really loving plum on my eyes recently. Purple or similar colors look amazing on brown eyes and help enhance their appearance. These baked eyeshadows are really pigmented and really inexpensive.

6. Milani Baked Blush (Rose D' Oro) - Oro means gold in Spanish which is perfect to describe this color. It is a beautiful rose gold that can really be worn all year round. This may be a weird and useless comment, but Milani baked blushes smell really good (I smell every product). Milani Blushes look really lovely on all skin tones and are some of my favorite blushes. They are really pigmented and add a pretty glow to your checks.

7. Real Techniques Buffing Brush - This is the perfect brush to apply foundation. It easily blends it into the skin and makes it look flawless. This is good for all types of foundations and it works very quickly. I love all of these brushes as they are great quality and really inexpensive.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous

Hello Everyone!

After a while of refusing to give into the hype of this product, I finally gave in. The only reason why I didn't want to try this foundation was because I already have so many others that I love and use. For some odd reason I thought I would just try this out and see what everyone was talking about.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation

Covergirl claims that it has: Lasting power of a primer, coverage of a concealer, and blendalbility of a foundation in one. Shine free.

Because my skin is slightly acne prone I find it difficult to find primers that will not cause minor breakouts. There's also an issue with my skin tone. I've been told many times before that it is rather unique and at times is difficult to color match. Taking these factors into consideration, I picked up the color 855 in Soft Honey and it seems to match my skin tone pretty closely. I can honestly say that I completely understand what all the hype was about this foundation.

This foundation really helps to smooth out any lines that I have on my face and makes my pores look less visible (and I have really big pores around my nose area). This foundation also helps to protect my skin from the sun since it has SPF 20 in it. This is a great cover for my hyperpigmentation that I have which tends to be really dark and diffult to conceal. It is very easy to blend and to work with. One pump is all that you need because a little goes a long way with this foundation. The coverage is medium with about half a pump, but can very easily be made into full coverage with a whole pump.

The packaging is great since it is glass and has a pump like I have already mentioned before. Because of the primer in the foundation you can confidently wear this all day without fear of it wearing off. For under $10 at most drugstores you can get an amazing foundation that is worth all the hype that it is getting.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Is there anything that you would like me to review?
What do you think of this foundation??

Back to School Series: Emergency Kit

Hello Everyone!

Now let me start off by saying that I'm not too sure how I have made it this far in life without breaking anything. If you get to know me you will quickly know that I am the most accident-prone person you will ever meet.

I will trip over nonexistent obstacles, bump into inanimate objects and walk into things constantly. I don't know why I do this, but I've done it my whole life. Because of all these reasons I found it essential to carry around my own personal Emergency Kit to help me get home alive haha! Now even if you're not as accident-prone as I am, it is still important to have some of these things with you to use during the day.

This is my Emergency Kit bag that I picked up in Sally's Beauty Supply for around $7.

1. Feminine Products - These are super important to constantly carry around no matter where I am. You never truly know when something is going to happen, so carrying these around with you just makes life so much easier. I have a few different kinds in my kit just in case someone else might need one. Us girls need to stick together during that cruel time of the month ha!

2. Band Aids - I learned to carry these around the hard way. Last semester I wore these insanely cute new flats to school and walked around campus all day. It wasn't until a long time later that I realized that they had actually cut the back of both my feet and the pain was horrible. During a break between classes I drove to a nearby drugstore and bought some things to clean-up the cuts and band aids to be able to make sure they didn't get infected. These have really helped me since I always cut myself on the randomest things.

3. Floss - These are literally sold any and everywhere. Just throwing some of these in a bag can really help you if you have food stuck in your teeth after lunch. I much prefer these floss sticks instead of actually floss that you have to stick your whole hand in your mouth to use.

4. Hand Sanitizer- I am a college student so I use this very often. I am constantly touching doors, chairs, desks, and computers that hundreds of other people have also touched. Having one of these really makes me feel safer when I go to lunch or am eating a snack between classes.

5. Hand Cream - Because I use hand sanitizer a lot, my hands tend to get a little dry throughout the day. I can easily pull this out and use and not have to worry about my hands aching.

6. Contacts Case - Now of course if you don't wear contacts then you really don't have to worry about carrying this. My classrooms tend to be freezing which makes my eyes a little drier than usual. If I ever feel that I just don't want to wear my contacts anymore or if I need to take them out to put drops in my eyes I know I always have my case with me. ( I also carry around solution for my contacts which is super important and eye drops.)

7. Lens Cleaner - When I do decided to wear my glasses ( again if you don't wear glasses you can skip this as well) I feel like I have to constantly clean them. I don't like looking through dirty glasses and this wipe makes sure I won't scratch or damage my lenses.

8. Tweezers - Since I do have very thick and dark eyebrows I feel like I have to constantly look over them. If for some reason I have extra time before I get off my truck to go to class I will quickly look over them. I can instantly see if there is a hair or two that needs to be plucked and can do so.

EXTRAS:
(these are a few products that I don't have in the picture above but still carry with me)

1. Gum - You never know when you'll have stinky breath.

2. Tissues

3. Umbrella - Obviously you can't put this in the bag, but I think you should have one with you. I like to have two in my truck, one in the front and one in the trunk.

4. Extra shoes - Again I like to have a spare pair of shoes in the trunk of my truck just in case the ones that I am using are bothering me.

5. Sweater - And again I will have one of these in the trunk just in case the weather decides to change and you need one. I just started doing this because of the crappy weather we have been having in South Texas. It has literally been horrible.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Do you have an emergency kit?
What would you carry??

August Favorites

Hello Everyone!

As we all know August has sadly come to an end. That means Summer is over (not technically) and that it is officially back to school time. Although I am a little sad that August is over I am excited to see what the rest of the year has in store for me.

I loved all of these products during the month of August and thought I would share them with you. Now some of these are a little newer than others (to me at least), but I loved them so much that I had to include them!

1. Now I know I have talked about these babies a heck of a lot, but I really love these cream shadows. Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoos are simply amazing. I am surprised at how much I actually use these and how I don't get tired of them. They are creamy and stay put all day. I don't plan on not mentioning them again so heads up haha!

2. This is one of the products that I received in my International Beauty Swap and I quickly fell in love. I finally understand why so many people in the U.K. rave about this product. The Bourjois Bronzing Powder (the chocolate bronzer) looks beautiful on my skin. It adds a bit of color to my face and the shimmer in it isn't over-powering. The best part is that it smells so delicious that you actually want to eat it, even though I recommend that you don't.

3. During the Summer I like to apply body mist more than perfume. I think that they are much lighter and sweeter which is perfect for the Summer time. Victoria's Secret has some of the best body mists to use during the Summer time. Pure Daydream is a sweet smell that isn't too sweet where you get a headache from it.

4. I had never tried a Jordana product before but they were having a sale on them at my local drugstore. This Jordana Blush Powder in Sandalwood is a beautiful natural blush for my skin tone. I used this on a daily basis for a quick everyday look.

5. During the month of August I had a serious obsession with pastel colors. From necklaces to nails, I was rocking these colors. I fell in love with the Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in Green with Envy. It is a really pretty pastel green and very inexpensive.

6. For Summer makeup I like to go very natural looking. Since I do have naturally colored lips I have to actually buy darker than nude colored lipstick to look natural on my lips. The Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick in Berry Sorbet is a slightly pinky nude on my lips (it may be a little deeper if you actually have nude lips ha!). This with my Rimmel Volume Booster Lip Colour in Tease on top was my go-to lip look in August.

7. Now this isn't just a August favorite, but more of a back to school favorite. In between classes I love to eat a little snack just to get me through the end of my classes. Instead of just buying a bag of chips I like to take one of these for a healthier snack. My favorite is the Quaker Chewy Granola Bar in Chocolate Chip. The chocolate really helps to give me a boost of energy and keeps me going until the end of my school day.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Color Tattoo Metal Collection

Hello Everyone!

I would like to start of by apologizing for the lack of blogging I have done this week. This was a rather hectic week for me since I had a lot going on at the same time. Some of you may know but I started my second year of University this week. Between trying to adjust my schedule for classes, trying not to get lost on campus, dealing with horrible weather and did I mention trying not to get lost, I didn't really have time to blog. However now that my first week is over I am much more comfortable in my classes and can restart my blogging as usual!

Another reason behind my lack of blogging was my anxiety. It has been much worse this past month or so and I am not too sure why. Dealing with all that I had to deal with plus my anxiety was rather difficult, but I am getting through it.

Well, let's get started!

Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal 24 hr Eyeshadows

Metal Collection

Left: Barely Branded (70)
Right: Inked in Pink (55)

Freckles on my hand LOL

I have already done a review on Maybelline's Color Tattoos here, but they recently released the Metal Collection which offered some new colors that I very much enjoyed. Since I like very neutral colors on my eyes, I only bought two of the new original Color Tattoos. In the Metal Collection I fell in love with these two new colors. Barely Branded (70) is a beautiful champagne color and Inked in Pink (55) is a pretty pink color (shocker haha!). I love using these two as bases for my eye and they really make my eye makeup look so much better. When I use Barely Branded I will either apply it all over my lid and then apply a very neutral color like Toast from Sleek on top, or I will use it in the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them. I love using Inked in Pink on lazy days when I just want a quick splash of color on my lids and just apply it all over.

The quality of these cream shadows is UHHMAZING! They stay on my lids all day and I don't have to worry about touching them up throughout the day. The packaging is perfect since the clear jar allows you to see what color you are getting and they are small enough to just throw in your handbag to take on the go. The price is very reasonable for the quality that you get from these products. They are around $6 and can be found in most drugstores.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Have you tried the Metal Collection?
What are your favorite cream eyeshadows??

Orange Attitude

Hello Everyone!

As many, if not most of you know, it is back to school season. I honestly have no clue where this summer has gone, but I'm excited to see what the rest of the year has to bring.

Now I am aware that many people may not particularly like to wear lipstick. Since it is back to school season, I thought I would share one of my favorite products for people who are in school, or want a lip product that isn't a lipstick.

Maybelline New York's Color Whispers were a must have for me this Summer. The quality of these lip products are truly awesome. They feel amazing on the lips and are a great product just to throw in your handbag or backpack and take with you for a day out. They are perfect to just whip put and throw on a splash of color on the lips. You don't really need to apply a moisturizer before applying because it feels like a moisturizer in itself. Unlike the Lip Butters (which I love just as much), these Color Whispers are slightly more pigmented. The Color Whispers do have a slight smell, but it isn't a bad smell and doesn't last very long. They also don't have much of a taste which is a problem that I have had with other lip products.

Like some of you may know, I decided that I would try to expand my lip color selection outside of my usual red or nude lip. This was a great way for me to experiment with new colors without feeling overpowered by them. If you are a student and aren't allowed to wear much makeup, or just want some color on your lips but nothing too strong, these are perfect for you. Orange Attitude is so far my favorite of the bunch and I use it regularly. Now don't be scared when you first open the tube and see this neon color. Once you apply it to the lips, they sheer out and make your lips look/feel beautiful. I purchased this Color Whisper in Walmart for $5.94.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Have a great semester!

Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pots

Hello Everyone!

Covergirl recently released their Flamed Out Collection consisting of shadow pots, mascara and shadow pencils.

 Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pot

355 Scorching Cocoa

330 Melted Caramel

Color of the shadow pots when used wet.
(Cool plant in the background haha)

These are the Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pots. I decided to play it safe and try some neutral colors because they really did look beautiful. I really enjoy the packaging of the shadow pots. The clear lid allows you to see the color that you are picking. They are compact and easy to throw in your makeup bag to take on the go. Now there have been some mixed reviews when it comes to these shadow pots, but I really like them. They have beautiful color payoff and durability. The shimmer isn't overpowering and they blend amazingly. They are available in 12 different shades and the darker ones are really lovely. Shade 355 is a deep, rich bronze and shade 330 is a golden bronze.

One problem that I have seen is that they do have a slight fall out, but there are simple ways to take care of this. My favorite thing to do is to use them wet. Not only does this help take care of the fall out, but it helps to intensify the color like in the picture above. You can also use a sticky or cream base in order to help it stay on the lid. Lastly, you can do your eyes before you apply foundation. You can quickly clean up the mess and the problem is solved. (Tip: Tap the brush to help get the loose eye shadow off the brush). For $3.94 at Walmart, these really are great shadow pots.

Hope you enjoyed this review :)
Big thank you for my 81 followers! It means the world to me to have you all enjoy what I love to do.

Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers

Hello Everyone!

I have had my eye on these babies for such a long time, but they only recently became available in the U.S. More popularly know by their U.K. name the "Apocalips," these lip lacquers have taken over the beauty world.

600 Nude Eclipse

500 Luna

501 Stellar

303 Apocaliptic

400 Big Bang

Rimmel has really set the new standard when it comes to lip products. The Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers are unlike anything I have ever tried before. The best way to describe them is by saying that they work as a liquid lipstick. They are extremely pigmented, which is why the application must be precise. You do need a mirror to apply these lip lacquers if you don't want to go out looking like Miranda Sings ( Even though she totally works that look!). A small amount goes a long way with these babies. The most unique thing about this lip lacquer is the applicator. Unlike lip gloss applicators, these have a small indention in the middle. When you take the top out of the tube some of the product is left in the indention allowing for the perfect amount to put all over your lips!

The quality of these lip lacquers are amazing. They stay on the lips for a great amount of time. While the gloss does fade away, the color itself will not. They don't have a taste and only have a minimal smell that goes away rather quickly. I selected these five beautiful colors to add to my lip collection: Nude Eclipse (shockingly a nude color ha!), Luna (a nudish orange), Stellar (a bright coral), Apocaliptic (a bright pink), and Big Bang (a bright red). Unlike in the U.K, these lip lacquers aren't available everywhere just yet. At the moment they are only available in Walgreens for the amazing price of $4.99 (what a bargain!). However, the U.S. has created more shades to make up for the inconvenience :)

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Let me know if you have tried these in the comments!

L'Oreal Power Moisture Mask Review

Hello everyone!

When it comes to washing my hair, I don't think it is very important to spend loads of money on products. Of course there are some great higher end shampoos and conditioners out there, but there are also some great drugstore ones as well. Since I do wash my hair everyday (big no no, I know) it is important that I find great inexpensive ones since I do go through a lot of products. I'm always on the hunt for drugstore hair care products that work great but don't put a huge dent in my bank account.

During this summer I noticed that my hair seemed to be a little bit dry. I usually have no problem with my hair, but it seemed a bit dehydrated. I was at Walmart awhile back and came across this product. Since it wasn't expensive I thought I would give it a go and see if it could help my hair. The product seemed promising by the claims on the tub and I needed a new deep conditioner anyways. Lets just say I have a new obsession with this product.

This is the L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Power Moisture Moisture Rush Mask. What really got my attention about this product was that it was Hyaluronic. Now Hyaluronic acid is known for its hydrating powers. It can be found in many products including face products. It is an overall great ingredient to have in a product if you are looking for hydration.

This hair mask has a great smell to it. It is pleasant and fresh, but not overpowering and if something smells good it is automatically a plus for me. I was a little sceptical of the mask at first because of its texture. It wasn't as thick as other hair masks that I had tried. After washing out the product, I could immediately feel my hair different. It felt very smooth, silky and soft. The product did not weigh down my hair at all either which is a problem that some hair masks have. I have been using this for a while now and my hair seems 100 times better than it did before. It looks completely healthy and hydrated. I guess I didn't know exactly how dehydrated my hair was because my hair looks so much better now.

I wouldn't recommend using this every time you wash your hair. Using a hair mask too often can end up damaging your hair rather than repair it. I use this about once to twice a week. If you don't wash your hair everyday like me, I would recommend using it every third wash or so. I picked this up for around $6, which is very inexpensive for a hair mask. Overall I would (and already have) repurchase this.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

July Favorites

Hello Everyone!
Today is the first day of August and I have no idea where Summer has gone. I can't believe we are this much into the year already! This is my first time attempting this, but I thought I would share with you a couple of things I have loved in the month of July. I'm going to include everything Beauty and Beyond (see what I did there? ha).

 Beauty:

1. Biosilk Silk Therapy Oil: I love applying this to my hair when it is tamp and letting it air-dry.

2. Essie Nail Polish ( Ballet Slippers): This is a perfect shade of baby pink and looks beautiful on tanned skin.

3. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter (Juicy Papaya): This is a great color for everyday wear and is a pinky coral color.

4. Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask: My skin decided to hate me this month, but this cleanser really helped to clear all my trouble spots.

5. Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer (Stellar): I decided to branch out of my usual red lip and have loved this bright pink shade on my lips.

6. Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer (tan): This was my life saver in the month of July. It is the perfect full coverage concealer.

7. Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow (Va Va Va Bloom): I really loved using creme shadows in the month of July as bases and this is a great palette for everyday wear.

Random:

1. Song: My favorite song for the month of July was Let Her Go by Passenger.

2. Entertainment: Candy Crush. I refused to get the app for such a long time because I knew I would get addicted to it, but i finally gave in. I've had it for a couple of weeks and I can't stop playing it!!

3. Fashion: Big Necklaces. I tend to be a little shy with accessories, but this past month I ventured into the big, bold necklace route. I must say that I am enjoying it so far.

4. Person: Courtney from Cheap but Chic Beauty :) She is an incredibly sweet person and I am so glad that I have been able to get to know her a little better this last week. We are doing something very special and I can't wait to get to know her better.

Reviews to come on a couple of these products!
Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Seven Deadly Sins of Makeup Tag

I thought this picture would be funny, but I just look lame (sorry).

1. GREED

What is your most expensive beauty product?
My most expensive beauty product was actually given to me, but it was the bareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 (warm tan) which is $27. I really want another one, but it is difficult to find around where I live.

What is your most inexpensive beauty product?
My most inexpensive beauty product I have is my wet n wild Coloricon Bronzer (Ticket to Brazil) which I paid around $2 for. CVS was having a buy one get one 50% off sale so that made it come out to really cheap, but absolutely love it and use it almost everyday!

2. WRATH

What beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with?
I have a major love/hate relationship with liquid eyeliner! I love the way that it looks on my eyes and when I apply it correctly. When I apply it wrong, I hate it. It is impossible to fix if it goes wrong and there really is no going back with liquid eyeliner. You have to be precise or suffer the consequences of horrible eye makeup.

3. GLUTTONY

What is your most delicious beauty product?
At the moment I would have to say my Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107. I love red lipstick and I think that it goes perfectly with my skin. It is just a beautiful lipstick that you just want to eat (I would highly recommend not doing so unless that's your thing, then good luck).

4. SLOTH

What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
I wouldn't say it is due to laziness, but I always forget to put on primer. It's just one of those things that I remember about when I'm half-way done with my makeup. Maybe it's the fact that I haven't found one that I completely love, but I just can't seem to put it at the top of my list on things I have to use.

5. PRIDE

What product gives you most confidence?
I'm very insecure when it comes to my skin due to my hyperpigmentation. I would have to say that concealer and foundation really help my confidence. I am able to hide what I am insecure about and be able to be a little less afraid of speaking to people face to face.

6. LUST

What product makes you feel most attractive?
I love me some red lipstick! I can't seem to have enough in my collection. I am trying to branch out into using different colors like coral and pinks, but red lipstick will always be my favorite no matter the time of year.

7. ENVY

What beauty product would you like most to receive as a gift?
Like I said before I would love to get another bareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 (warm tan). It was my favorite and I just love it. I have never tried any YSL lipsticks either so I think that would be a nifty gift as well :)

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
If you have done one, let me know! I would love to read your answers.
If you haven't, I tag you to do one! :)

Blush By 3 for Summer

In the Summer, I like to wear blush that is a little brighter than I would normally wear. It really helps to make your face brighten up and brings the look together.

Sleek makes some of the best blushes around. Now I know I have been on a little Sleek craze for my last couple of posts, but I can't get over how amazing their products are! Above is the Sleek Blush by 3 in 367 Lace. These blushes are super pigmented. With just the slightest touch on the product with a brush, you can go very far. They are easy to blend and layer over other products, including the other blushes. For people like myself that may be a little scared of how bright they look, don't be! With a little bit of blending, they turn into a very natural looking blusher on your cheeks. This is sold for $12.49 online on sleekmakeup.com for my U.S. readers :)

From left to right:
(these may be in the opposite order, I'm not too sure. Sorry!)

Chantilly - A bright orange coral matte colored blush.
Guipure - A shimmery pink and gold colored blush.
Crochet - A bright pinky coral matte colored blush.

Updates:
  • I now have 32 followers!?!?! That is crazy! It's nice to know that a small group of people really enjoy what I have to say. I appreciate every single one of you for putting up with my crazy self :)
  •
  • I was told by a very lovely fellow blogger that my email link on my blog doesn't work. I'm so sorry if you have been trying to reach me in that manner! I am working on fixing it.
  •
  • School is about a little less than a month away and I have also decided to work. This means that my blogging will have to be adjusted. I won't stop blogging (no matter what), but my blogs will have to be uploaded at a later time of the day as opposed to morning or afternoon. So sorry for the inconvenience.
  •
  • Tags?!?! I have been really wanting to do a tag, but not too sure which one. If you have a favorite tag or would like to see me do one, let me know! I will do all of them, if possible :)

Hope you enjoyed my post :)

Makeup for Beginners

I know that there may be some people that read my blog that are just beginning their journey in this makeup adventure. Now I by no means am a professional at makeup. I don't know every single thing about makeup and brands, but I do know a couple of things. I know what I like and I know the basics.

For people that are just starting their makeup collections or simply want to own the basics, I thought I would share this post with you.

This is the Sleek MakeUp i-Divine Palette in Au Naturel (601). It is a perfect beginners palette and I think that everyone should have one in their collection. Sleek has some of the most amazing eyeshadows and are truly my favorite. This is a palette with a combination of 12 matte and shimmer eyeshadows. It has colors to create a beautiful neutral eye and some to spice things up a bit. I use this palette more than any of my others because of how convenient it is. When I'm in a rush to go to school, I know that this palette has everything that I need in it.

This palette is also perfect for people that want to start a makeup collection, but don't want to spend too much money. This palette is $9.99 online and shipping is very inexpensive. The only downside to this is that this brand of makeup is only sold overseas. It has not yet hit the stores here in the U.S, but like I said shipping is very inexpensive.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
