Wet n Wild - Fergie Collection

Hello Everyone!

As most of you may know by now, Wet n Wild released the Fergie cosmetics collection. The range includes lipsticks to eyeshadows and everything in between. Since I already love Wet n Wild I decided to try a couple products from this collection and see how I liked them.

Wet n Wild - Fergie Collection

Photo Op Eyeshadow Palette - Desert Festival

Old School Glam

Fuchsianista

Left - Old School Glam
Right - Fuchsianista

Desert Festival

The Wet n Wild Fergie lipsticks are all a creme formula. There are ten different shades that range from nude to a blackish color. I opted for two colors that I normally wouldn't go for, but thought might look nice. Old School Glam is an dark orange shade while Fuchsianista is a fuchsia color with a hint of metallic blue/purple. These colors are absolutely beautiful. They are extremely pigmented and super creamy. They feel amazing on the lips due to the vitamins and minerals to keep lips soft, smooth, and kissable all day. What I love most about these lipsticks are long they last. They tend to lightly stain the lips and you only need one application to last most of the day. There is no taste or smell which I enjoy very much.

Price: $3.49

When it came to the eyeshadow palettes I went with the one that had more colors I would wear more often. These palettes are available in four different combinations of which I chose Desert Festival. In this palette there are two mattes, two shimmery and one shimmery/glitter shades. The lightest shade is a Cappuccino-Champagne shimmery color that I love so much all over the lid. Beside that one is a matte orange color that I haven't been brave enough to try just yet. Then there is a beautiful gold shimmery shade. Next to that one is a black shade with a hint of gold shimmer/sparkle. In the center of the palette is a matte dark brown shade for the outer "V" of your eyelid. These eyeshadows are super pigmented and creamy. They are easy to blend and don't crease or flake. They last such a long time and have a satin-smooth finish to them.

Price: $4.99

Overall I have very much enjoyed this collection and look forward to trying different colors and products.

Hope you enjoyed this review :)

Back to School Series: Fall Lips

Hello Everyone!

Today I thought I would share with you some of the different colors I will be wearing on my lips this Fall. This is in no way me telling you that you have to go out and buy all of these lip products. I just thought it would be fun to show you my favorites for this Fall.

I have chosen two different categories for lips. For those of you that enjoy a more shear lip color, I have chosen a couple of those for you. If you are a person that really enjoys a full coverage lipstick then there's some suggestions for you as well.

1. Covergirl Lipslicks Smoochies - #2 cute: I am in love with this color. It is unlike any other color that I have ever tried and perfect for Fall. These smoochies are extremely moisturizing and perfect to just throw in your handbag for a quick splash of color.

2. Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain - Cranberry Crush: I have already talked about how much I love this lip stain before and cranberry is a great color for Fall. This is great if you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to balm stains.

3. Covergirl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Stain - 255 (Jam Twist?? Not too sure if that is the name): These gloss stains are much more sheer than the other balm stain mentioned above. It is more glossy and does not have a sticky feel at all.

4. Maybelline Color Whisper - Orange Attitude: Orange is a huge lip color for this Fall. If you are like me and are a little scared of wearing a bright orange lipstick, this is the perfect alternative for you. You still get a hint of orange without having to go all out.

5. Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick - 107: This is my favorite lipstick of all time. It is a deep matte red that really helps me feel super confident. This particular lipstick does not dry out your lips even though it is matte. These are under $5 at most drugstores and I couldn't recommend them more.

6. Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick - 01: This lipstick is more of a cherry red and has more of a creamy finish than the other lipstick.  They are extremely long wearing and very pigmented. They are a must have in every lipstick collection.

7. L'Oreal Paris Le Matte Colour Riche - Matte-r of Fact: This is the darkest of all my recommendations. It is a deep red than is even deeper than the Kate Moss Lipstick in 107. The wear is amazing on these but the colors are limited. I like wearing this shade when I don't feel like having to be constantly re-applying it throughout the day.

8. Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick - 410 Blissful Berry: Purple is also very popular this Fall. Now I did not wanr to just jump into this shade with a bright purple color. This is more of a pinkish-purple but you still get a good amount of purple. Color Senstaionals are very moisturizing and have a great finish.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

A Simple Something - Friday

Hello Everyone!

- School has been so hectic lately with research papers, exams and group projects. Oh the joys of higher education haha!

- I am completely and totally obsessed with Dark Horse by Katy Perry. The lyrics are amazing and I love the feel of the song.

- Even though it is already Fall, I have yet to bring out my Fall wardrobe. This is due to the constant 90 degree weather. Texas really needs to recognize what season we are in and cool down so I can wear my cute Fall clothing.

- I've been trying a bunch of new makeup so there are tons of reviews to be coming up in the future on them.

- A while back I mentioned something about making a YouTube channel/videos. I received a lot of very supportive comments from amazingly sweet people. I'm still a little too shy and self-conscious, but I said that I would do them if I reached a certain amount of followers and I am getting there much sooner than I thought I would. ( I haven't mentioned the specific number it is just one that I have had in my head haha!)

- I'm starting to really break out of my shell lately. In my classes I have been much more engaging with my classmates and I'm trying really hard to get over my anxiety and shyness. I've met some really sweet people because of this

- I'm really looking forward to next month because I am planning a high-end makeup haul!!

- I've been experimenting with tons of colors that I would never think about putting on my face and I am very pleased with some of the ones I have tried.

- I want to give a big thank you to the beauty bloggers on Twitter. There are unbelievably sweet and I am so happy to see the bond between this beauty community :)

L'Oreal Le Matte & La Laque

Hello Everyone!

A couple of weeks ago I went to Target with the intention of buying one specific product. If you live in the U.S and have ever been to Target, you know that that drugstore has magical powers. It makes you buy anything that you might not exactly need or want, but have to have. Lets just say that a basket full of beauty products later I didn't end up finding what I went to Target for in the first place.

I did end up buying loads of amazing products that I will be writing about soon so keep an eye out for those!

L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche La Laque and Le Matte Full Coverage Lipcolours

Le Matte - 404 Matte-r of Fact

La Laque - 411 Never Lacque-ing

Left - La Laque
Right - Le Matte

I was on the search for deeper colors to wear on my lips for the Fall and Winter seasons that are coming up. Since I hadn't heard much about these particular products I thought I would give them a go and see what I thought of them.

The first that I fell in love with was the Le Matte in Matte-r of Fact. Now I cannot go through this post without mentioning how adorable the name is. It is super cute and I can't help but like products that have names like this. The shade is a rather deep red which I quite enjoy. Like the name says this particular shade is matte. This lipcoulor is super pigmented to the point where you have to be careful when applying it. It isn't particularly a lipstick but rather similar. Being that it is matte I was expecting that it would dry out my lips, but it did not. Also the wear of this shade is amazing. You do not need to be constantly touching it up and can feel secure that it will stay on the lips.

The next shade Never Laque-ing is part of the La Laque collection, again I love the name. Now I normally would never buy a lip product in this shade because I felt that it wouldn't go right with my skin tone, however I just thought "What the heck" and bought it anyways. I must say that I really enjoy this shade and lipcolour. It is super creamy on the lips and gives a hint of shine without having the severe lip gloss effect. This product is also super pigmented so a little goes a long way with this bad boy (or girl ha!). I think that this shade would go beautiful on people who have tanned skin but are afraid that some light pinks will look a little weird on them, trust me it doesn't.

I'm not too sure if it is just the drugstores near me, but I have only been able to find these lipcolours in Target. They are available in a couple of shades in either Le Matte or La Laque. They are around $7.99 and totally worth it.

Hope you enjoyed this review :)

Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pots

Hello Everyone!

Covergirl recently released their Flamed Out Collection consisting of shadow pots, mascara and shadow pencils.

 Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pot

355 Scorching Cocoa

330 Melted Caramel

Color of the shadow pots when used wet.
(Cool plant in the background haha)

These are the Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pots. I decided to play it safe and try some neutral colors because they really did look beautiful. I really enjoy the packaging of the shadow pots. The clear lid allows you to see the color that you are picking. They are compact and easy to throw in your makeup bag to take on the go. Now there have been some mixed reviews when it comes to these shadow pots, but I really like them. They have beautiful color payoff and durability. The shimmer isn't overpowering and they blend amazingly. They are available in 12 different shades and the darker ones are really lovely. Shade 355 is a deep, rich bronze and shade 330 is a golden bronze.

One problem that I have seen is that they do have a slight fall out, but there are simple ways to take care of this. My favorite thing to do is to use them wet. Not only does this help take care of the fall out, but it helps to intensify the color like in the picture above. You can also use a sticky or cream base in order to help it stay on the lid. Lastly, you can do your eyes before you apply foundation. You can quickly clean up the mess and the problem is solved. (Tip: Tap the brush to help get the loose eye shadow off the brush). For $3.94 at Walmart, these really are great shadow pots.

Hope you enjoyed this review :)
Big thank you for my 81 followers! It means the world to me to have you all enjoy what I love to do.

Full-Coverage Drugstore Concealer

Hello Everyone!

Today I thought I would share with you my favorite full coverage drugstore concealer. Now I have tried many drugstore concealers, but this one seems to stand out amongst the rest. Many people have wrote and talked about how much they love and use this product, so I decided to give it a go and see what all the fuss was about.

I had never tried any Hard Candy products before but this one looked promising by the fact that it claimed to be a "heavy duty concealer." I can honestly say that this concealer has lived up to my expectations.

If you are looking for a full coverage concealer and aren't wanting to spend much money, then this is perfect for you. The Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer comes in shades between light to tan. Unlike some other heavy duty concealers, Hard Candy's is creamy. I have found others to be very thick and difficult to work with. This makes it very easy to blend into the skin. You don't have to worry about blending quickly so that it doesn't dry out. It is very pigmented so only the smallest amount goes a very long way.

This is an amazing concealer for hyperpigmentation (I should know). You can hide anything from dark circles to tattoos. It really works great to smooth out the area that you want to conceal. I use the shade tan which is the perfect shade for my skin tone. This concealer is only $6 and totally worth every pretty penny. It blends well with foundation and doesn't make you look like a cake on the concealed areas. Since you only need such a small amount to hide imperfections, it lasts for a great amount of time. I love it and am so glad I tried it out.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Let me know if you have tried it!

P.S. : My birthday is Monday (August 12th) and I would like to say thank you to my 62 followers!
This is literally the best present I could ask for. I still can't believe I have gotten this many followers in the past couple of months. You guys are the best, much love to all of you and a big hug as well :)

Liebster Award (Part 3)

I have already been nominated for this award twice, but I thought it would be nice just to answer the questions :)

I was contacted by the lovely Catherine. She so kindly, nominated me for the Liebster award. You should definitely check her out because her blog is very cute and informative. This is a great way for bloggers to get to know each other and to discover new blogs. Who know, you may meet some amazing people along the way :)

The Liebster Award is for bloggers with under 200 followers. Here are the rules:
  1. Answer the 11 questions that you the person that tagged you asked.
  2. Choose 11 more bloggers with under 200 followers ( no tag-backs) and give the person that tagged you a shout out as a thank you :)
  3. Ask the blogs that you picked 11 new questions ( my answers and tagged blogs below )
  4. Contact the people that you tagged to let them know
Here are my answers:

1. What is your dream vacation?
I would love to travel to the U.K. I would just love to shop over there and try out all of their products that aren't available here.

2. Which makeup look do you like the least?
Everyone has their own style and preferences so I wouldn't dislike their choices. For me I don't like wearing very bright colors on my eyes. I like to keep them very neutral and light.

3. If you could style one celebrity who would it be?
I would love to style Taylor Swift. I think we have very similar preferences of style and I love how classic yet cute she always looks.

4. What is your favorite hobby?
I love blogging. Although it is a hobby now, I would love to expand it to so much more. There are so many possibilities and I'm very excited to see where this goes.

5. What is your favorite store?
Forever 21 all the way. It is affordable and they have such a wide range of selection. They have some really great pieces if you look good enough :)

6. Are you a fan of nail-art?
I love to look at it lol. I have not patience or skill in that department. It takes to much time and I try to stay as far away from it as possible.

7. What is your favorite nail polish?
At the moment it is Ballet Slippers by Essie. It is a beautiful baby pink that looks amazing on tanned skin.

8. Which face wash do you use?
In the morning I will usually use Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask. In the shower at night I like to cleanse with the Garnier Radiance Renewer Cleansing Gelee.

9. Favorite beauty tip?
Moisturize! I know everyone knows this, but it is such an important factor in having good healthy skin.

10. Least favorite hairstyle?
Again anyone has their own preference, but I don't like having my hair slicked back. It has never looked good on me and I refuse to do it in that manner lol.

11. Do you love blogging?
Of course I do.!This has been my escape from the shy life that I have. I can share all the things that I love with people that love the same things. It has helped me meet great people and learn a heck of a lot about myself.

Thank you for the nomination Catherine :)
Hope you enjoyed this post!

Liebster Award (Part 2)

I have already been nominated for this award, but I thought it would be nice just to answer the questions :)

Recently, I was contacted by the lovely Ciara. She so kindly, nominated me for the Liebster award. If you enjoy my blog, then you should definitely check her out because her blog is similar to mine.

  4.
  5. Contact the people that you tagged to let them know
Here are my answers:

1. Day without foundation or day without hairbrush?
I would say a day without a hairbrush. My hair is very straight and if I take care of it, it doesn't get tangled. I'm too insecure to go out without some facial coverage.

2. If you had €1000 what would you spend it on?
Well this might be obvious by what I do, but I would say makeup and clothing. I can never get enough and there is just so much stuff that I want to try :)

3. Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter! I only use Facebook to stay in contact with some family members. I love Twitter because it is just so quick and efficient.

4. If you could only listen to one singer/band who would it be?
At the moment I would have to say the Imagine Dragons. I never seem to get tired of their music and they're all different but connect at the same time. I love them!

5. Obsessions?
I am addicted to shopping. I'm such an impulse buyer it seriously is a problem. I will sometimes makeup a scenario just to explain a purchase. I'm horrible haha!

6. Favorite city in the world?
I don't really have an answer for this one. I haven't traveled much so I would know what to compare really. I really do love London though :)

7. Bracelets or Necklaces?
I've really been into necklaces lately. I used to be really shy with accessories, but I am expanding my style. I have a really small wrist so it is rather hard to find a bracelet that doesn't fall off.

8. Opinion on tattoos?
I don't mind tattoos. I would never get one, but only because I am terrified of needles (I cry every time I get a shot). Everyone is entitled to do as they please with their bodies. Your body is your temple and do with it as you please :)

9. Books or Movies?
I am a total nerd, so I would have to say books. Reading just makes a great escape from reality. I don't watch many movies unless someone forces me to.

10. Favorite school subject and why?
I really love English. It's the best way to express everything I want on a certain topic. It has always been the easiest subject for me since the words just flow onto the paper.

11. Any crazy habits?
I have a horrible habit of making lists. I forget things very easily so I feel like I have to write everything down. I have lists for anything, but the bad part is that sometimes I forget where I put the list lol!

Thanks for the nomination Ciara :)

Trying Something Different.......

In the last couple of weeks I have been really thinking about what I want to get out of this whole blogging thing. Since I am no longer speaking to myself, I think it is important to determine exactly what I want to do here on Elizabeth: Beauty and Beyond. Now that I'm doing something that I love and people seem to enjoy what I am doing (thank you 44 followers <3) I think it is time to try different things.
I seem to have set myself into a "inside the box" set of mind. Since I was so shy at the beginning of this journey I did what I knew, but now that I'm more comfortable I want to expand my horizons.

Hair:

I took a big step this Summer and ombred my hair, but that only goes so far. For anyone that knows me, 99.9% of the time I have my hair in the exact same style. I seem to have slumped into a cycle of having my hair down and straight. This has gotten extremely boring and I want to try so many other things.

Makeup:

I do use a large variety of makeup, except for my lips. I would say that 75% of my lip products are red. Now don't get me wrong I love me some red lipstick, but there's so many more beautiful colors out there! On a recent shopping trip I picked up a few fun colors that I can't wait to try.

Blogging/Followers:

This is the part where my blogging and followers come into these changes. I want you to be part of this journey. This will include a heck of a lot more blogging with more FOTD, EOTD, HOTD and many many reviews to come! I want to be able to interact with all of you and really make you feel like your with me the entire time. I'm not sure I would have been able to do this a couple of months ago, but y'all have made me feel so comfortable on here. I can truly be myself and share anything I want to without being afraid of doing so. I want to give you a virtual hug and a big thank you for letting me be me <3

Interaction:

If you want to interact with me, or contact me feel free to email me ( elizabeth.vasquez89@gmail.com )! I will gladly try and assist you with anything that I can. I can also be found on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. If you just want to say a little hello, comment on a post or do anything that feels comfortable to you. I want to know what your favorite products are and what you love! If there's a product that you would like to see me try or talk about, just let me know. I love trying new products and writing what I think about them :)

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

July Favorites

Hello Everyone!
Today is the first day of August and I have no idea where Summer has gone. I can't believe we are this much into the year already! This is my first time attempting this, but I thought I would share with you a couple of things I have loved in the month of July. I'm going to include everything Beauty and Beyond (see what I did there? ha).

 Beauty:

1. Biosilk Silk Therapy Oil: I love applying this to my hair when it is tamp and letting it air-dry.

2. Essie Nail Polish ( Ballet Slippers): This is a perfect shade of baby pink and looks beautiful on tanned skin.

3. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter (Juicy Papaya): This is a great color for everyday wear and is a pinky coral color.

4. Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask: My skin decided to hate me this month, but this cleanser really helped to clear all my trouble spots.

5. Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer (Stellar): I decided to branch out of my usual red lip and have loved this bright pink shade on my lips.

6. Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer (tan): This was my life saver in the month of July. It is the perfect full coverage concealer.

7. Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow (Va Va Va Bloom): I really loved using creme shadows in the month of July as bases and this is a great palette for everyday wear.

Random:

1. Song: My favorite song for the month of July was Let Her Go by Passenger.

2. Entertainment: Candy Crush. I refused to get the app for such a long time because I knew I would get addicted to it, but i finally gave in. I've had it for a couple of weeks and I can't stop playing it!!

3. Fashion: Big Necklaces. I tend to be a little shy with accessories, but this past month I ventured into the big, bold necklace route. I must say that I am enjoying it so far.

4. Person: Courtney from Cheap but Chic Beauty :) She is an incredibly sweet person and I am so glad that I have been able to get to know her a little better this last week. We are doing something very special and I can't wait to get to know her better.

Reviews to come on a couple of these products!
Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Sleek Limited Edition ShowStoppers i-Divine Palette

When it comes to eyeshadow, I am more of a neutral girl. I tend to lean more towards browns and light colors for some odd reason. I don't know why, it's just something I've always preferred.

I was a little worried about this palette because some of the colors seemed to be out of my comfort zone, but I purchased it anyways. I must say that I am so very glad that I did.

This Sleek Limited Edition Showstoppers i-Divine Palette is just so beautiful to look at. Like most of Sleek palettes, this is a combination of matte and shimmery eyeshadows. The colors are so different, but come together to make an amazing palette. There is not one color that I don't like, or haven't used in this palette.

The quality of Sleek eyeshadows is unbelievable for their price. This palette was $9.99, which is super inexpensive since you are getting 12 eyeshadows and a large mirror. These eyeshadows are super pigmented and easy to blend. They aren't chalky or extremely powdery. These are some of the best eyshadows that I have ever tried and give high-end brands a run for their money

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
What are your favorite palettes?
Any questions, feel free to ask!

Sleek Face Contour Kit Review

Sleek Makeup is a brand that was created and sold in the UK. Recently, Sleek made shipping to the U.S available on their website. I had been dying to try their products because I had heard so many wonderful things about them.

I went on a mini Sleek haul and thought I would share with you my experiences and thoughts of some of the products that I ordered.

I was a little iffy about this products when I first heard about it for one reason. This Sleek Face Contour Kit comes in three different shades ( light, medium, dark). My skin tone is very in between medium and dark depending on the time of the year but I decided to go with the medium shade.

The first thing that I loved about this product was the packaging itself. It is a very compacted little kit so it is easy to carry around in your makeup bag. The kit also comes with a very decently sized mirror inside which is helpful when you're doing your makeup on the go.

The product itself is wonderful. The powder is matte and very pigmented. You only need the slightest amount on your brush to contour the cheeks and such. The highlighter is also great. It is shimmery, but not overpowering. Like the powder, the highlighter is very pigmented so just a small amount goes a long way. Both are very easy to blend and work with.

On the website this Sleek Face Contour Kit is $8.49. Shipping to the U.S is very inexpensive and you get the product in about a week. Overall, I am in love with this product. Finding a good matte contour powder and a good highlighter is difficult, but Sleek put together two amazing ones in one kit.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Have you tried this product??

My Remedy for Dry Skin

When it comes to my skin type, I have normal to combination skin. A couple of days ago for some odd reason, I woke up with extremely dry skin. Dry to the point where my face hurt when I moved it. I tried moisturizers and face masks and it didn't seem to be enough. Now I think this may have happened because of the 100 plus degree weather, but I needed a solution.
While digging for a remedy, I came upon a product that I loved so much. Bio Oil isn't a new product, but it is a great one. Not only does it hydrate my skin, but it makes it appear healthier and smoother.

Here is how I use it:

Prep: Before applying this product, you need to prepare your face. You need to make sure that it is completely clean. Make sure that there is no makeup, dirt, or oil on the face. I will usually wash my face with a cleanser before using this.

Water: Now this step isn't really required, but I found it works best for my face. Apply water all over your face. By making your face damp, you are allowing the oil to absorb into the skin faster and better. I'm not too sure why, but I like to use warm water.

Oil: Now I usually apply this all over my face, even if I have only a few dry spots. There really is no harm in doing so. Rub it into the skin for about a minute, and you're done.

Tips:
I recommend using this on days when you're not going anywhere. You need to remember that you are using oil on your face. It makes your face look extremely oily and does not look flattering.

This oil can take anywhere between half an hour to a couple of hours to completely absorb into the skin.

I will usually put it on at night before I go to sleep and wash it off in the morning.

I use this for my dry skin. Now if you have oily skin, I wouldn't use this too often. When I had oily skin, I would use this about once every week and that was good enough to make the appearance of my skin better. Now that I have slightly dry skin, I use this whenever I feel it is necessary. It can be once a day or every other day.

Not only does it fix my dry skin, but it has appeared to help even out my skin tone.

While this product is a little pricey (about $12 for 2 oz.) it is totally worth the price.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Have you used Bio Oil?
What do you think about it??

Revlon Coral Lipstick/Lip Gloss Review

Because it is summer, I find myself wearing a lot of bright colors on my lips as opposed to my usual dark red lip. One of my favorite colors to wear during this time of the year is coral. Coral is a beautiful color that looks amazing on so many different skin tones and is a great, fun color.

Revlon recently came out with their new Super Lustrous Lip Gloss and added a bunch of fun colors.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss - 255 Kiss Me Coral

If I had to chose a favorite lipstick brand from the drugstore it would have to be Revlon. I have many of their Super Lustrous lipsticks, but I had never tried this particular shade. This lipstick was part of the creme line. It goes on very creamy and smoothly. It is greatly pigmented and very reasonably priced. The lipstick doesn't dry out the lips and can be used without a base (lip moisturizer). The color does not mysteriously disappear after a while for no particular reason either. I think that the color is perfect for tanned skin and I absolutely love it.

Because of how much I love Revlon lipsticks, I had very high expectations for their lip gloss. I can happily say that they did not disappoint. The lip gloss is not sticky what so ever. It has great pigmentation and looks beautiful on the lips. The color is a perfect coral with a hint of shimmer in it.  The shimmer in it does not over-power the lips, like some other shimmery lip glosses do. It doesn't have a gross lip gloss smell to it and it wears for a great amount of time. Like the lipstick, the lip gloss does not dry out the lips at all. I think it's just a perfect summer color to wear over either a nude lipstick or a coral one like I use it.

Hope you enjoyed my review :)

L'Oreal Super Slim Eyeliner Review

L'Oreal 12hr Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner - Black

If there is one beauty product that I have a love/hate relationship with, it would have to be liquid eyeliner. I love how it looks on my eyes when it is put on properly. It just brings my whole face together and really completes my look. When it is impossible to apply and it smears everywhere, I cannot stand it. The worst part is when you end up with a dotted line on you lid because the eyeliner magically disappeared after a couple of hours. I believe I have found the best liquid eyeliner and I am sharing with you its wonderful powers.

Unlike most liquid eyeliners, the Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner isn't very liquidy. (this might not make too much sense if you haven't used many different liquid eyeliners) The problem with those that are, is that they tend to be easier to smear. Anyone, including my poor makeup ability self, can use this! It is really easy to use and very hard to mess up. With the shape of the tip, you are able to create pretty and accurate flicks at the end of the eyelids. It is super pigmented and looks beautiful.

The best part of this has got to be the wear of it. I haven't been able to test it the whole 12 hours, but it does last a really long time. I literally applied some to the back of my hand and rubbed my finger over it and guess what..... NOTHING HAPPENED! The eyeliner stayed in place and did not budge or smear. Think of it as waterproof mascara, but better. I am in love with this eyeliner and have repurchased it (the top picture). It is only around $8 at Target, but it is completely worth it.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

John Frieda Review

Hello there lovelies :)
I must apologize for not posting in a few days. I try to post as often as possible, but sometimes things don't always go as planned. However, here I am! :) I hope you like this review and let me know what you think.

John Frieda Everlasting Blonde Colour Preserving Shampoo/Conditioner

First, I would like to share a horrible habit of mine (it has to do with this review I promise). I have to wash my hair everyday. I know everyone is screaming in their heads how horrible this is for my hair, but I take very good care of my hair (I'm a rapper lol) and it is actually very healthy. I love washing my hair and I have washed it every single day since I can remember. I just can't sleep knowing I haven't washing my hair in 24 hours. Anyways, since I wash my hair everyday and I have ombred my hair I knew it was important to get something to preserve the color. I picked up this John Frieda one, even though I had never tried a John Frieda product, because I heard someone say good things about it.

The great thing about this product is that you don't need too much of it to work. Having long hair and washing it everyday means that I go through shampoo/conditioner like crazy! A small amount in the palm of my hand is enough to fully wash my hair and thoroughly. Now this product says to use it every time that you wash your hair, but I only use it about one to two times a week. I can honestly say that my hair looks the exact same color as the day that I colored it, and that includes all the washes that it has been through. It has really helped kept the colored ends of my hair looking healthy and beautiful.

The best thing about this combo is how soft it makes my hair. Honestly, no shampoo/conditioner has ever made my hair feel as soft as this one. As I'm washing the products out I can just feel my hair so smooth and silky. There must be magic in this product. I can literally run my fingers through my wet hair and it is soft and there are no tangles in it (and I have a lot of hair!). This softness carries on to the styling of the hair and remains for a really long time. I really just love this product and recommend it to anyone with colour treated hair (blonde).

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Hair Care/Review

TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave-In Spray

As you might know from previous posts and pictures, I ombred my hair. When you do this, you are essentially bleaching your hair and stripping it of its color. This can be very damaging to your hair, so proper care is required afterwards. One of the most important things required is protection against heat. I used to be very lazy about it and wouldn't really think twice if I forgot to use it. Since I did my hair, I use this every single day and have made a habit of using it to protect my hair from more damage.

TRESemme has always been one of my favorite drugstore brands. The price and the quality of what you get from their products are amazing. I really do believe that they are professional quality. I do prefer some of their products more than higher-end products because of how good they are for my hair. This particular product protects up to 450 degrees of heat, which is great for blow drying, straightening and curling.

Unlike other heat protection sprays, this one doesn't have a very strong, chemical smell. It has a very pleasant, clean smell to it. It doesn't leave your hair feeling stiff either. When you first spray it on, it leaves your hair a little firm, but as soon as you brush through it it actually makes your hair feel super soft. I found that my hair seems to feel lighter and bouncier when I use this product instead of weighed down by it. I have noticed that my hair has started to look much better than it did before I used it. I highly recommend this to anyone, regardless if you have ombre hair. Even if you just blow dry your hair, you need some sort of protection for it.

I hope you enjoyed this post :)
