March Favorites - 2014 | Elizabeth Vasquez

Hello Everyone!

Long time no blog....
I have been terribly slacking on here lately and I do apologize. The end of the semester is quickly approaching and I will soon have more time to blog more. I usually post these types of posts at the very beginning of the month, but that clearly didn't happen. Better late than never. Here are some of the things that I loved throughout the month of March.

March Favorites - 2014

Hair:

Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo & Pantene Sheer Volume Conditioner: My poor hair has had to be neglected a bit this month. Because I work five days a week, my hair spends the majority of the time in a bun and out of the way. On the two days that I don't work and go to school, I love having my hair down. This shampoo and conditioner really makes my hair feel light and bouncy. It doesn't feel weighed down by how long it is. It feels smooth, soft and is really easy to handle.

Body:

PINK with a Splash Soft & Dreamy: I normally love sweet smelling body mists because I get headaches from strong scents. During the Spring I like to use mists that are very light and warm. This body mist from Victoria's Secret is perfect for the Spring time. It is a fruity scent with a hint of warm vanilla (If your not the biggest fan of vanilla don't worry, it is very minimal).

Caress Tahitian Renewal Exfoliating Body Wash: I absolutely love the Caress body washes. They are inexpensive and they last such a long time since a little goes a long way with them. This body wash smells so amazing and the exfoliating part is just a plus. It isn't harsh on the skin and the smell lasts a good amount of time.

Skincare:

Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towlettes: I am officially hooked on these makeup remover wipes. The wipes are big enough to take a full face of makeup off without having to use multiple wipes. They are very moist and gentle on the skin. These wipes have not made me breakout and actually seem to be improving my skin.

St. Ives Green Tea Scrub: This cleanser has made its way back into my favorites this past month. My skin did not look and feel the same when I stopped using this cleanser. It is an amazing exfoliator and gets into your pores to clean them out. The green tea really helps to control my acne and prevent future blemishes.

Makeup:

Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder (220): I initially got this powder when I got the foundation and concealer. Apparently if you found your shade in one, you could immediately know what the shades of the other two would be. This did not seem to be the case with me. This powder was too light and had too much sheen and sparkle to it. I recently began using this to set my under eye concealer and I love it. It serves almost as a highlighter and really brightens my face.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser: I clearly have not been getting enough sleep recently, but this really helps to hide it. Everyone raves about this product and there is great reasons to. It transforms my face to look brighter and more awake.

Sleek Face Contour Kit: I have really been into contouring my cheekbones and this is the perfect product for it. It is very pigmented and easy to blend on the face. It also comes with a beautiful highlighter that looks amazing on everyone. Although it is not available to purchase in the U.S., you can order it on the Sleek website and have it shipped to you for a very low price.

Maybelline Color Tattoo (Caramel Cool): I recently did a look involving this product and I can't get enough of it. It is a beautiful copper/gold shade that is perfect for Spring. This shade could look amazing on so many different skin tones and is easy to work with.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
