Sephora Haul | Elizabeth Vasquez

Hello Everyone!

I would quickly like to address my non-existence this past week. Spring Break was last week and most of my friends were down for the week. Since we all go to different schools in different parts of the state, I had to take advantage of them being here. It was an amazing break from school and being able to be with all my friends made it so much better. I also began to work recently and that has been quite the adventure. It might be a little weird to mention where I work, but lets just say that I am not being paid enough to do the work that I do (I promise my work doesn't involve anything illegal haha).

During the break I made a little trip to the Sephora a couple of cities away (the one near me has little to no options). Once there I had to take advantage of the quantity of products and brands that they had available. I had a list of products I intended to buy and might have picked up a few extra along the way.

Ooooo look at me trying to be all sneaky and give you a little preview of what you're about to see haha.

I have the strangest experiences when it comes to the wear of my face makeup. No matter how "long lasting" the products claim to be, they all seem to disappear within a couple of hours. I have tried so many products that I know that it's not the product itself, but rather my face. I usually go for the oil-control setting sprays, but the oil in my face has been under control so I opted for the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. When I use setting sprays I tend to apply them before and after my face makeup for the best effect.

As much as I love lipsticks it pains me to spend so much money on them. I knew that if I was going to spend that amount of money on a lipstick, then it had to be one that I could use regularly and whenever I wanted. This is the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine lipstick in number 9 (Nude in Private). This is a beautiful pinky-nude shade that can be worn with any color of eyeshadow or blush.

This was sort of a repurchase in a sense, I guess. This is the NARS Radient Creamy Concealer in the shade Custard. My skin very quickly (and unexpectedly) turned two-to-three shades lighter and most of the products I had were not my skin tone. I still have the darker one and plan to use it during the summer, but until then I shall use this one. It is a very creamy concealer that covers just about anything. It is a bit pricy, but totally worth it in my opinion.

Just like my face makeup, my eyeliner never lasts as well. They do not transfer on to my eyelid or crease, but rather disappear. This is the only eyeliner that can last all day if I really need it to. This is the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (Black). I believe this is the only shade that it is available in since it is the only one I have seen. The pigmentation and wear of this eyeliner is amazing and the shape of the tip allows for perfect cat flicks.

I have picked up the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette and put it down so many times before. To be honest, I do not need another neutral palette in my collection. I'm not sure if it was the cute packaging or the fact that the eyeshadows smell like chocolate, but I caved in and bought this bad boy. I will be making a post with swatches and thoughts very soon so look out for that.

The Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation was the reason I went to Sephora in the first place. During the Spring and Summer I don't like to wear very heavy makeup on my face. This powder foundation looked like the perfect investment for the upcoming seasons. I have had to time to play with it this past week and you should expect a review pretty soon to find out what I think about it.

I only purchased the Tarte Airbuki Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush to use with the powder foundation. I don't really see  how someone could get the best results of the foundation without this brush. I'm sure that you could use another brush, but this particular one was made for this foundation.  It was a bit pricey, but I wanted to get the best results without struggling or wasting product.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Please let me know if you would like any reviews or looks including these products!
